Birgit Lamm joined FNF in 1993 in Germany. Since then she has held various positions within the Foundation in Germany and internationally. Among others, she served as Director of the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach (2006-2012) and Head of the Mexico Office (2013-2019). She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics (English/Spanish) from Mainz University, Germany, and an MPA from the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin.
Muhammad Anwar is with the Foundation since 1992 and currently the Head of Programs and Administration. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Punjab. An early adopter of all things innovative coupled with a strong focus on networking, Mr. Anwar is passionate about his work and wants to promote the progressive side of Pakistan.
Aamir Amjad has an M.Phil degree in Peace and Conflict studies from the National Defense University Islamabad. His interests include human and women rights advocacy and youth leadership. As programme coordinator at the Foundation his main task is programme planning, implementation and coordination with the Partner organizations in Pakistan.
Saadia Mumtaz is a law graduate having a degree in LL.B Hons Shariah and Law and has a certificate in legislative drafting from Boston Law School. She is currently working on a European Union project titled “Democratic Local Governance for Development in Pakistan”. A strong advocate for right to information, with further expertise in gender and inclusion, she has worked at various national and international organizations including United Nations in the areas of Law, Gender and Governance since 2001.
Atif Saeed is a qualified Finance Professional with more than 17 years of experience of accounting, taxation, internal controls, audits and financial analysis. He has been exceptionally driving performance through managing operational budgets, developing strategic plans, and anticipating emerging issues in national and international corporate and development sector. Since joining the Foundation in 2010, he has been an instrumental team member looking after finance, taxation and trainings of partner organizations. Currently, he is responsible for all financial aspects of the climate change project including lead financial reporting, budgets, projections, and assisting strategic plans.
Fariha Yousaf has in-depth knowledge & proven experience in commercial & account, decision-making, policy direction, business planning, recruitment, training & career development. She holds Master Degree in Business Studies & is a Computer Sciences Graduate. As an Accountant at FNF she is responsible for Budgeting, Accounts, Taxation & Audit matters of European Union Project. She has total 9 years of Finance & Techno-Commercial Experience working in French (Oil & Gas) & German (Electronics) Multinational Companies.
Shahbaz Tariq brings with him eight years of diverse experience ranging from private, development and education sectors. He has held portfolios in accounts & finance, business development and program management. With a Master Degree in Finance and Management Sciences (MS), he has also a number of research papers published in International Journal of Management Sciences and Business Research. He is responsible for maintaining country office account and support FNF staff and partners in audit, tax and administration matters since 2018.
Touseef Riaz is an associate member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants and has a Certificate in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He is a commerce graduate with 4 years of professional training from international audit firm. He has conducted various external and internal audits in sectors like power, textile, health, education and INGOs. Currently he is working on European Union Funded project titled “Democratic Local Governance for Development in Pakistan” supervising the financial support of local civil society organizations.
Rebea Firdous joined the Foundation’s Pakistan office as Communications Officer in January 2017. She has worked as a market and social researcher for four years before joining the Foundation. She holds a MBA degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences and Bachelor in Computer Engineering from GIK Institute. Currently she is working on the digital transformation of the work and communications at the Pakistan office and is fond of the help she gets from the Regional Office in New Delhi.
