Developing Innovative Entrepreneurs-Capacity Building Training On Entrepreneurship
Together with Entrepreneurial Alliances at the Bahria University of Islamabad, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) organized a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship Executive Training Program”. The aim of the educative activity was to enable the participants to seize opportunities, develop ideas and manage projects so that they may achieve their objectives.
The discussions focused on how to initiate entrepreneurial inspiration through capacity building and how to enhance the can-do attitude among the aspiring entrepreneurs which is a must for business success. The four days’ workshop included lectures, question and answer sessions as well as interactive group sessions. There the participants were divided into groups and tasked to come up with innovative business ideas.
Under the guidance of the facilitators, the participants developed business plans. Amina Sadaf, one of the facilitators, gave the project a wider spin: “Entrepreneurship is about making money, but also about solving social problems”.
The Foundation is planning two follow-up sessions to pick-up where this workshop ended. Meanwhile, the participants have been asked to explore and get deeper insights about their entrepreneurial ideas with the ultimate goal to convert theory into practice. “Entrepreneurs turn ideas into action and our workshops empower budding minds”, said Dr. Almut Besold FNF Country Representative. "Creativity and innovation are the core of entrepreneurial success", she concluded.
