Successful Strategy Planning Workshop for Liberal Partners

Successful Strategy Planning Workshop for Liberal Partners
FNF South Asia

Senior members of the partner organizations of the Friedrich naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) participated in a three-day workshop on “Strategy Planning”. The three days event was held on the outskirts of New-Delhi and aimed at familiarizing the participants with the pivotal role of strategic communication in their lobby and advocacy work.

Individuals from India, Nepal and Bhutan working in the fields of education, energy and socio-economic policy reform were the main target group. “The workshop was an eye-opener. "I never thought that agenda surfing was so important to plan a strategy” said one participant. In the end, all participants developed a strategic plan for their projects along with a time-action plan.

Rainer Heufers, former FNF-colleague once more received first class feed-back for his moderation skills. He brought in theoretical knowledge coupled with practical experience gathered while working for the Foundation in South East and East Asia.

Considering the positive feed-back, the Regional Office is considering to organize another such training activity for our partners in 2015.
